Details:
On 6th September an unusual combination of unseasonal cumulus cloud and smoke haze generated some extraordinary atmospheric optics including a phantom second sun with rainbow crepuscular ray, fans of radiating crepuscular rays and some broad cloud shadows. In the last picture a passing UFO (probably an insect) casts a strange short diagonal shadow (top RHS) on the gold-lined cumulus scene. Camera: Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in sunset scene mode.
