Details:
The waning Gibbous Moon soon after it is full provides a good opportunity to view the Tycho crater in all its splendor. The rays extending from the crater are very visible, even to the naked eye, and quite impressive. The darker ring around the crater is also highlighted at this time. This image was captured early this morning (August 29th) just after midnight. Telescope: Takahashi Epsilon E-130D Camera: QHY 183C Single frame from AVI video. Processed in Pixinsight and Photoshop CS.
