Archaean Horizon Finally I was able to make my first very long exposure of the Milky Way with a UHC filter or "light pollution reduction filter". Using the mount of a Celestron C8 telescope, I tracked the Galaxy for twenty minutes in four exposures of five minutes each. The Milky Way gained an imposing contrast between its dark clouds of dust and the glowing clouds of gas, the nebulae. When I finished the image, I missed something to give a sense of the dimension of this vision. I then took a picture of the landscape during sunset to highlight only the silhouette that makes up this image. [COMPOSITE] Milkyway: Canon EOS600D ISO800 1196s (20min) 4x299s 24mm f/2.8 Foreground: Canon EOS600D ISO800 18mm f/3.5 1/125s Milkyway processed in Deep Sky Stacker, Lightroom and Composite in After Effects.
