Details:
The monsoon finally cleared leaving a mostly clear sky for the setting full "Sturgeon" moon. This morning as the moon set in embedded in the Earth's departing shadow cloud bands also radiated from the horizon. Barely visible in normal light the bands were prominent in IR. Shown here captured in deep IR with a 830 nm cutoff using a modified Nikon D7100.
