Details:
I first noticed this balloon before sunset on August 14, 2018. The sky was hazy and filled with some smoke which made the sunset very red. This photo was taken at 8:48 p.m. MDT from my backyard using a telescope with a 1,912 mm focal length. Taken with a Canon EOS digital camera with a 1/125 second exposure at f/6 and ISO 1600. The image has been cropped some. I also made some HD videos which show the blinking strobe lights on the payload but these files are too large to send.
