Details:
As I am scrolling through my timelapse images from the Perseid meteor shower, what a surprise to find those faint red sprites in the distance over the mountain to the far right of the picture. They were from a not-so-distant thunderstorm that developed all around the Swiss Alps during the night of the peak of the Perseid (12-13). I had hoped to catch both meteor and red sprite in the same frame but unfortunately one meteor did appear in the fram right before the second picture!! It's still awesome to get red sprites and milky way in the same frame!
