Details:
On Saturday 11 August 2018 we had the opportunity to observe the third solar eclipse of this year. A partial solar eclipse occurred and it was visible from the Scandinavian countries, Greenland and Siberia. The maximum coverage of the solar disk reached 74% at North Pole. However, the solar disk obscuration was only 5% from Oslo, Norway. The next solar eclipse will occur on 6 January 2019 and it will be also partial.
