Details:
Mars remains challenging from the UK at this apparition and seeing was pretty poor since the maximum elevation at the moment is around 11 degrees. However, with the dust storm waning, some contrast stretching does reveal some surface features and Syrtis Major is now in full view. This image was taken with an 8 SCT + ADC + X3 barlow + a Phil Dyer (PD) camera. The best 1200 frames of a 2000 frame AVI was used, stacked and sharpened with Registax 6 and processed with GIMP 2.10.
