I was out shooting a storm when I realized that soon in the very direction I was aimed that Mars would rise right over the storm. Managed to catch a couple lightning shots with Mars in frame.

Nice - I accidentally got some similar shots that if I had realized at the time, and left the camera in one position, would have an amazing animation of Jupiter rising over a huge, rotating thunderstorm. Next time try a series with the camera in a single fixed direction. Youll get the storm rising, boiling & rotating with the planet rising behind!
