Details:
The large active filament region in the middle of the sun is still very prominent in h-alpha. It is slowly developing, but has not changed very much from July 14 to July 15, as can be seen on these images. The images were taken with a double stacked Coronado 60mm scope. Left photo from July 15, right photo from July 14.
