Details:
New comet C/2018 N1 NEOWISE is much brighter than the ephemeris prediction. It appears magnitude 11 in this photo taken on 2018 July 7 at 17:45UT using a Canon 60Da camera and Sigma 200mm lens. In this wide angle photo, you can see planetary nebula NGC246 in Cetus at left. The comet on the right has a diffuse coma 4' wide. It will approach Earth in late July and brighten further.
