Details:
Comets 183P/Korlevic-Juric and 314P/Montani were only 0.11 degrees apart in Earths night sky when this collection of images were taken. Unfortunately, the 77% illuminated Moon was only 33 degrees to the east of the comets in Earths night sky. So with the Moon so close and the comets both only about magnitude 19.2 this image is rather ugly to look at. Both comets were moving to the ESE at about 0.1 degree per day. 183P was at perihelion last November, 2017 in its 9.52 year orbit and is 353 million miles from Earth in this image. 314P was at perihelion back on October, 2016 in its 19.62 year orbit and is 483 million miles from Earth in this image.
