Details:
More beautiful clear blue sky over Mutare on 20 June allowed the half illuminated First Quarter Moon to be photographed appearing above the sunlit Cecil Kop horizon at 12.24 pm and then rising above some nearby objects including a Musasa tree canopy full of ripening seed pods and a satellite TV dish. It continued on its journey upwards during the afternoon until it was almost directly overhead at 5.0 pm. Camera: Hand-held Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in sunset scene mode with up to x60 zoom magnification.
