I was shooting a time lapse of the amazing thunder and lightning storm in Auckland and it wasn’t until I checked the images back that I saw the Red Sprite and at first thought it was some lens flare or some other anomaly But when I checked it against all the other images with lightning it was the only one that had captured the Sprite so I knew I had captured something pretty amazing! From what people have been telling me I am the first and only one to ever capture from New Zealand! Amazing!
