Details:
Needing a very low western horizon I chose the beach at Siesta key Florida to try and photograph the conjunction of our 1% moon and the Planet, Mercury over the Gulf of Mexico. Partly cloudy skies made for a beautiful sunset however the clouds made it tough to find and see the Planet Mercury. I did manage an image though, and Mercury can be seen in the very center of my photo. This event went unnoticed by the beach goers there but for a few.
