Details:
An unusual display of the most common optical phenomenon of all. This diffraction corona was very colorful and existed of three concentric rings. Its circular shape was slightly distorted by local differences in droplet size in the cloud, and varied while the cloud bank was passing by. The cloud responsible was an intermediate form of altocumulus and altostratus.
