Details:
On 3rd June the waning gibbous Moon and Mars were at their closest. A bonus was that both rose above the corner of my garden at about 11 pm to shine bright above some winter flowering red hot pokers (Kniphofia linearifolia). Compare this with the next picture taken on 28th May when the almost full Moon, Jupiter and Zubenelgenubi rose in almost the same place. Camera: Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in night and sunset scene modes.
