Details:
Quite a nice first NLC display of the season before we were fogged in, these just taken from the drive. I did take a trip out but the fog was widespread and quite dense in places. The display was quite extensive across the northern sky and well above the altitude of Capella, with some nice wave structure, it also died quite quickly as well once the sun dipped lower. For those keen it might appear again before dawn. However I'm happy with my first of the season :-) Canon 400D 70-300mm lens at 70mm and 8seconds ISO800.
