They are back! NLC over Hjørring, Denmark captured in the first hours of 31st of May. In the last couple of days I was driving outside the city to spot any glimpse of the NLCs, but tonight I decided to drive an extra kilometer just to check out one of my favourite landscape-shooting area. As I couldn't spot anything, I was about to pack and go home, but decided to make a last test shot towards Western side. AND THEY WERE THERE! I have never seen NLC appearing so much West, as I was always capturing them in the North - North-east. Andy Stable's report from Scotland shows exactly, that the NLC activity is now peaking Northwest from Greenwich latitude.
