The Museum of the Moon sculpture / artwork by UK artist Luke Jerram, A 21 meter high resolution NASA image was used to create this spherical sculpture / artwork, the lunar image was taken by the NASA spacecraft carrying the lunar reconnaissance orbiter camera launched back in 2010, The sculpture / artwork is suspended inside the Liverpool cathedral UK and is lit internally.One of these photo's reminds me of the NASA image taken by the Apollo crew when the earth was captured rising above the lunar horizon, the stained glass window being the earth.
