Last evening I saw the most remarkable sunset in my life. The sun was changing shape within minutes. Finally it became laminated like puff pastry. The water of the North Sea is still cold, but the air is warm. This might be the reason for so many inversions. I took the photo's with a Nikon D7500 and 70-300 nikkor telezoom at 300 mm.

That is a remarkable sunset, I like your description -laminated like puff pastry-. The first image looks like a cake with lemon topping flying over the Sea, that is a cold looking Sea. Thank you for sharing,
