Details:
The Eta Aquariids are appearing. One of my favorites because of the color of the meteors evident in this one. Image captured at 3:47 am in the Tucson AZ foothills with a Nikon D810 camera and a Sigma 8 mm lens at 15 sec exposure and 3200 iso using an interval timer. Image processed from a Nikon Raw file.

Eliot,

Now that is a nice field of view and meteor. Are there a couple faint meteors running perpendicular to your nice meteor? It looks like your camera was sitting in a big hole! Very nice image,

Hi Mike. I think those faint meteors are man made satellites. They are becoming real vermin of the skies and I photo a lot more of them than I do real meteors!
