Michael,

Another one of your nice images, did you happen to have clear skies to get 74P crossing M66 like Roman Kulesza did in Ontario, Canada?

I am still amazed at the images and GIFs that you shared with us of C/2016 R2 PanSTARRS. The fact that R2 only reached magnitude 10 and you obtained the quality of the images/GIFs that you shared with us was impressive. Probably the best sequence of images/GIFs of any comet that I have ever seen.

Thank you for sharing your images,

Mike Olason

Dear Mike

Unfortunately, the weather was not so good to document this event animated. Of course I am always happy if my animations are interesting for you.
2016 R2 is an extraordinary comet that shows clear structures only on the blue images. The story tell us that you do not always have to wait for bright comets. Congratulations on this occasion too. Youre doing a great job
Michael
