Details:
Early in the morning of 8th April there were beautiful sunrise crepuscular rays radiating from behind Cecil Kop Nature Reserve in the east followed by anticrepuscular rays converging towards Murahwa Mountain to the west. This display was the result of early rising sunlight being partially blocked by distant end of rainy season storm clouds below the horizon with some rays passing on to be projected across our local sky. A splendid Belt of Venus with Earth Shadow is also present in the last photograph. Camera: Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in sunset scene mode.
