Incredible sight! A white halo that went through (not around) the Sun, along with a rainbow halo around the Sun, with sundogs at the spot where the two halos bisected.

That is an interesting halo display. The halo through the sun is the parhelic circle. It is parallel to the horizon. The 22 degrees parhelia are on this ring. Moreover you can see two faint arcs crossing in the parhelic circle just opposite of the sun. Those are part of the rarely seen Wegener anthelic arc. The rainbow halo above the sun is the upper tangent arc. The halo-generating clouds are very thin, since the halos appear in a bright blue sky.
