Details:
Sunday 25th Feb turned out to be a beautiful day across most of the UK allowing me to take some close views of the Sun in hydrogen alpha; the first for me this season. With an otherwise blank disk I noticed a knot of magnetism which was the absolute genesis of the newly developing sunspot shown in WL on the 26th on spaceweather.com. Shown here in the red glow of hydrogen alpha, the knot is clear to see. True genesis.
