Details:
Here is a wide angle photo I took Wednesday evening of the constellation Orion the Hunter and Taurus the Bull, with the waxing Crescent Moon. I used my Nikon D5300 with 18-55mm zoom lens, focal length @ 25mm f/stop @ f/6.3, 10 second exposure, ISO 800, white balance set to daylight and used a light pollution filter to remove the high amount of light pollution here in San Jose. Software used was Nikon View NX2, Darktable photo and Apple Paintbrush to label the constellation. ps... also used a small German equatorial mount.
