Comet Panstarrs R2 in a nebulous background - 2/7/18
I went long and deep with the 10" f/3.9 last night on this comet, and also used a blue filter for the Luminance. Closest approach to M45 is around now, and the background has tons of outer nebulosity from this cluster to make processing interesting. The tail is fairly short now, but sports a nice fan shape and some included spiky rays. The comet is really quite faint!
