This all-sky image was captured a few days ago from Teide Observatory (IAC, Tenerife, Canary Islands).
It shows a bright zodiacal light in a vertical position on the snow-covered Teide volcano (below in the center, west point), stretching until it intersects with the Milky Way, beyond the zenith. The Milky Way crosses the entire sky, from the southeast (to the left), where you can see Canopus near the horizonby the constellation of Canis Major with Sirius-the brightest star in the sky- to the northwest with the cosiness of the Swan and the North America nebula set on the horizon.
The landscape appears snowed due to the persistent storm of cold and snow that ravages the Canary Islands these days.
The image is a combination of 10 photographs taken sequentially along the entire horizon and then combined to create an "all-sky" orthographic projection.
