Details:
Aurora bands rarely move far enough south from here to cover the Moon. This is the first time in 10 trips here that this happened and during the total lunar eclipse. Aurora images were in perfect contrast to 1.5 hours earlier when the Full Moon lit up the sky causing much shorter exposures to be taken.
