This was the 3rd supermoon in a row with the 1st being the largest and brightest. A comparison of the last two supermoons shows the size difference. The January 1st moon had an apparent diameter of 33 degree 58 minutes and the January 31st moon had an apparent diameter of 33 degrees 23.1 minutes. Distances were 353,744km and 356.538km respectively. By comparison the size and distance at the end of June will be 29 degrees 37 minutes with a distance of 403,355km
