Details:
I was travelling from South London to Peterborough (yes quite a distance) to capture this promising event which lasted for 0.7 seconds. Weather looked okey, but we don't take anything for granted until it becomes history, right?! I took both of my scopes (5" mak and a 10" dobson) and I was only hoping to come home with something. These images were taken with the maksutov scope on an Allview mount. The 0.5x reducer sadly blurred the edges of my composite photo, so I need to get a decent reducer in the future. Two shots, first is a composite photo. The second seems to be the best frame of the lunar surface and the ISS near Copernicus crater.
