Details:
As yesterday’s Sun set towards the summit of a mountain on the distant horizon it changed from peanut to egg shaped and then slightly flattened as its light was affected by atmospheric refraction and passing through gaps between thin layers of cloud. This was followed by a brief green flash as the last portion disappeared. Camera: Hand-held Panasonic DMC-TZ60 in sunset scene mode with up to x60 zoom magnification.
