This is a 60 second image of Comet C/2017 T1 Heinze taken on January 6 as it moved away from Earth after its close approach to Earth on January 4. The comet tail is to the upper left of the comet coma. The large low surface brightness Spiral Galaxy IC 342 is circled in the image. The image FOV is about 1.3 degrees by 0.9 degrees.
