Details:
Using the 150mm Zeiss refractor at the Brisbane Planetarium, I was up early for this pairing. Just 15 arcminutes apart, Mars and Jupiter were a comfortable fit on an APS-C sensor at prime focus. I took various different exposures and combined them to get both Jupiter cloud belt detail and the Galilean satellites.
I also had time for the waning Moon, and with seeing being fairly stable (it often isn't, in an observatory that sits beside a large concrete building that's radiating heat), I got reasonable detail across the disk.
Canon 40D; 150/2250 prime focus (f15).
