Details:
I woke up early this morning to get a view of the conjunction between Jupiter and Mars. A little before sunrise, the south-eastern sky turned a vivid orange and there was a beautiful bluish earth shadow with the pink Belt of Venus on top in the opposite direction. I decided to make a "Little Planet"-projection to show the full 360° horizon in one picture. I also managed to catch the close conjunction in the bright morning sky /*Peter R

Peter, I have never seen the shadow portion represented in precisely the color I see it on clear, cold winder mornings -- till now and your very creative image. Very nice (all the way around, as it were!)

Awesome!!! I hope the trade union of chimney sweepers had not protested against your activity :)

Thank you Peter and Monika.

Monika, as I always take the nightshift, they have never noticed my activity on the rooftop :)
On that morning there was a thin layer of ice so I had to be extremely cautious not to slip and fall with all my photographic gear.
