Comet C/2016 R2 (PANSTARRS) photographed on December 15th 2017. This comet increased its activity suddenly in middle November and from then has deployed a very dynamic ionic tail. In this high resolution image taken through telescope IAC-80 from Teide Observatory can be seen multiple jets ejected from nucleus in all directions, as well as changing clouds of plasma emerging from coma and waving behind with the solar wind.
