Details:
The Wolf Supermoon rising in the ice mist and a picture perfect 22 degree lunar halo later in the evening. The lunar halo was quite vivid and I took the photo handheld without the aid of a tripod! Yes, its nice to have a fast lens at f/1.4 and a Canon 6D DLSR with ISO set to 3200. The Spaceweather upload site does not allow me to enter a date past 2017 but the photos were taken on Jan 1, 2018. Happy New Year!
