Details:
Dispite the long wait for a gap in the sky ,eventually it opened up ,just as the magnetic field flipped to a low Bz number ,that tilted south opening a very small gap, giving us enough time to catch the images above for all the guests ,on the 30th of dec 2017 and closed just before midnight again dispite waiting untill 2 am ,hoping it would open again. Tonight or tomorrow though the guests could be in for a big surprise as the solar wind predicted might arive just in time for the new years celabrations . Happy new year 2018 to Tony ,and all the staff at spaceweather.com How time flies. Marianne
