Details:
After five days of dull wet weather, the late afternoon sun managed to break through some gaps in clearing cloud before setting behind them and lighting up the upper layers with a blaze of orange and red (last image). The first three pictures show how the Waxing Gibbous Moon, which was almost directly overhead, could be seen shining through gaps under the highest plume of the sunset colored cloud. Camera: Hand-held Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in sunset scene mode.
