Details:
An amazing night tonight in Abisko guiding the 4 day Christmas special for Lights Over Lapland. We got to one of my favourite locations we call the bonsai tree due to an unusually shaped pine tree. As we arrived we had 90% cloud and quite a lot of snow. At 11pm the skies started to clear and we had some light aurora to the south west. I composed a shot with the said bonsai tree. What I never envisaged was that the aurora was going to look like Santa getting pulled across the sky by aurora reindeer!
Straight after this a huge corona developed above the yurt which looked more like the ghost of Christmas future from Dickens' Christmas Carol!
Hope everyone has a great Christmas :)
