On Christmas Day, a lady walk out her house, standing on the balcony. She wear a white shawl and a Christmas hat. It is cold outside. She take a cup of hot coffee, and the pattern of Santa Claus is printed on the coffee cup. The street light illuminated the house and illuminated her face. She raises her head and looks at the beautiful stars in the sky. Maybe she is making a wish. There are many colorful stars in the sky which can help her to come true. My equipment is Nikon D810a and AS-F 14-24mm f2.8 lens @ 14mm. I composed 163 images to get the startrails. The exposure time of one picture is 60 seconds and the interval time is one second. So the total time is almost 3 hours. Bright spot in the sky is a lens glare. Orion is at the top middle sky and the brightest star Sirius is coming from the left to the middle. The startrails is fade in style. I take this image at 2017 December 18th night at the suburb of Huailai, Hebei Provience, where is about 100 kilometers from capital city Beijing. Here is a villa away from the city. However, there is also a very strong Christmas atmosphere in China. Everywhere you can see the Christmas tree, the Santa Claus model and the Christmas lights. Christmas is already a global Festival. The lady in the image is my mum. She is very interesting in Western culture. She also likes photography very much and willing to appear in my picture. I just see a movie named Loving Vincent which is the first painting movie in the world. My inspiration comes from this, so I make my image to another painting style using Photoshop CC software. Before Christmas and new year, I want to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and to all staff. Thank you for your hard working. I also hope I can share my image on SpaceWeather for Christmas. Thank you very much.
