Details:
Shown is Asteroid 3200 Phaethon moving against the background stars captured with a 300 mm F4 Nikon lens and a Nikon D850 camera @ iso 8000 and 8 sec exposure using an iOptron alt az mount. The Asteroid was captured as it passed near Mirach. The images were captured in NEF, processed with Photoshop. It was great to capture the parent body after an amazing Geminid shower.
