Details:
A few Geminids and sporadic meteors caught at the Kiel Fjord last night.
The night from Dec. 12th to 13th was clear here at the east coast of Northern Germany for just a few hours which at this time of year is a rather rare occurence. So I rode out to the lighthouse to catch a glimpse of the december sky and was rewarded with 118 visibile Geminids and 8 sporadic meteors in roughly four hours after which the sky quickly filled up with clouds again.
There also was plenty of airglow overhead and even a little bit of red aurora (I guess a weak proton arc) over the northern horizon.
