While photographing M42 in Orion yesterday morning, I accidentally captured a bright green Geminids Meteor in the upper left frame. Orion Nebula - (1.) Inset Sony NEX5R through Celestron Nexstar 5i 1,250mm f/l at ISO6400, 66 seconds exposure, [rough failed tracking.] (2.) Background image of the lower half of Orion, with a Sony NEX5 55mm ISO1600, 49 seconds exposure, with a random Geminids meteor. Dec 12, 2017. From Zig Zag Oregon, 3:29 AM PST, light wind, 34 degrees fahrenheit.
