The Potentially Hazardous Asteroid (3200) Phaethon is approaching (the 5-km-wide rock will pass within 10.3 million kilometers from Earth at 23:00 UT on December 16th). On December 5th the distance was 32 million kilometers, 12.8 magnitude bright and still slow enough to be captured in 30-seconds exposures. Telescope 0.61-m f/4 + CCD STX16803 @ CCAF Astronomical Observatory
