Details:
Cold and foggy in the Pacific Northwest. Several attempts to image Mars early in the morning have failed because of the pesky fog. It does make for a very beautiful sunrise, however. Images were taken with an ES ED80 with 2x barlow (Moon), a Lunt tilt tuned H-alpha double stacked scope with a B1200 blocking filter (Sun), a Celestron C9.25 and ASI 178MC
camera (detailed moon image) and Nikon D3100 with a 200mm lens (sunrise). Guess I'll try for Mars again tomorrow :-)
