My friends hiked up to the top of Koko Crater for this shot, while I was down below, at about 3/4 of a mile away, shooting with my DSLR on a small refractor. Unfortunately, it is cloudy tonight, so our plans to shoot another round of moonrise silhouettes was for naught.
