Details:
I captured this Taurid fireball last night while trying to capture some sprites or jets from a storm just south of the Dominican Republic. The camera I am using belongs to the Arecibo Observatory. Before the hurricane I was running this camera to capture a visual of a fragmenting meteor, just like this one, while at the same time they gather data from it using their Lidar. Unfortunately they have suffered some damage due to the hurricane so the campaign was put on standby.
