Details:
Venus and Jupier did a tango in predawn skies this morning, less than 1/3rd degree of separation. I photographed the dance over Alkali Lake on the southeast edge of Cody Wyoming USA. A flock of waterfowl were still roosting on the open water, while a large well-lit semitruck drove by in the background to add the red swath.
Exposure was 8 secs. at f/16 at ISO 200 , using a Nikkor 70-200mm 2.8 lens set to 160mm ( 240mm eq.) on a Nikon D5300 DSLR.
